Dementia Carer Support Group funding success

We are delighted to have been successful in an application to the Community Foundation Dickon Trust Fund to market and develop our Dementia Carer Support Group.   During 2016 the group have benefited from the skills and expertise of A Time 2 Talk, a counselling service for mature adults experiencing life changing events such as a dementia diagnosis.  Topics for these monthly sessions have included topics including Diagnosis, Loneliness, and Fears…

Great North Run 2016 – what a weekend!

Sunday September 11th saw a team of  runners complete the 13.1 route from Newcastle City Centre to South Shields in aid of Silverline Memories.  It was a wonderful day and we are so grateful for all of their efforts, and also junior volunteer Hannah who ran in the Junior GNR on Saturday September 10th.  We will be announcing the totals raised as soon as possible.
